Aimis Tree Care offers a range of sustainable and environmentally friendly arboricultural services. Our team are always working on new ways to reduce the environmental impact of our work and to lower our carbon footprint.
We use Aspen instead of regular fuel in our machines. Aspen contains significantly less harmful and toxic hydrocarbons and reduces the impact of our machinery on the environment and on our team.
We use biodegrable chain oil on our equipment in order to reduce the pollution to the environment.
Where possible, we will use battery powered tools and machines instead of traditional fuel machines; this reduces the impact on the environment as well as reducing noise pollution.
We are green waste licence carriers and always dispose of our garden waste responsibly. The majority of our wood chip goes to biomass; a small amount of woodchip as well as our green waste than cannot be chipped goes for composting.
We always assess the wildlife impact our work is going to cause and adhere to all wildlife acts and protecting laws.
We are always looking at ways to reduce our carbon footprint, whether that’s planning routes for the most efficient journey, travelling in one vehicle instead of two and so on.
Focusing on biosecurity is an important factor to safeguarding the future of the trees. We not only ensure to inspect the trees for potential hazards to report to the relevant authorities, but we also use best practice when disposing of waste and cleaning our tools if we have come into contact with any diseases or contagious fungi.
In the event that we have to remove a mature tree, we donate to the Woodland Trust and their Big Climate Fightback. For more information on our donations and the Big Climate Fightback, click here
